Public Safety Campaign for TxDOT
I created the visual identity for Any High Is a DWI, a statewide public safety campaign for the Texas Department of Transportation. The campaign began by showing that driving under the influence of cannabis, alcohol, or both can lead to a DWI, and later expanded to include prescription medications and other drugs, reinforcing the message that impairment comes in many forms. I developed a bold, highly recognizable design system used across billboards, posters, event tents, outreach materials, animated banners, both in English and Spanish. The result is a clear and flexible campaign that turns a complex legal and safety issue into a message that is immediate, memorable, and difficult to ignore.
A few of the campaign pieces highlighted below.

I co-collaborated on the concept and art directed this animated video for TxDOT’s Any High Is a DWI campaign, with animation by Tony Wann. The spot uses bold graphics and clear messaging to show that driving under the influence of cannabis, alcohol, prescription medications, or other drugs can have serious consequences. Designed for digital and social media, the video turns a complex public safety message into a short, memorable story that is both visually striking and easy to understand.
I also created a World Cup themed series of posters and bar materials for establishments showing tournament matches. These pieces tied the excitement of the games to a simple reminder to plan ahead and choose a sober ride home.

As the campaign evolved, I expanded the original visual system with new imagery, motion, and messaging while keeping the bold bottle and cannabis leaf icons at its core. The result was a cohesive campaign that adapted across print, outdoor, digital, and animation without losing its recognizable identity.
